The Rev. Kevin Antlitz

Kevin began serving at Ascension in the middle of the pandemic. As the Assistant Rector, he oversees Community Groups and preaches and teaches regularly. Prior to coming to Pittsburgh, Kevin served in campus ministry at Princeton University and most recently as an Assistant Pastor at Church of the Advent in Washington, DC. As a priest, Kevin is passionate about teaching and shepherding God’s people as they discover what it means to be truly human.

He grew up near Annapolis, MD. He became a Christian in high school through a ministry called Young Life and discerned a call to ministry in college. After graduating from the University of Maryland – College Park with a degree in Politics, Kevin received an MDiv and ThM from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, MA. Since 2016, Kevin has been working on his PhD in Systematic Theology at Durham University (UK).

Kevin loves to read and write, to hear live music, quality time with friends, and traveling. Kevin is a big Boston Celtics fan and is an avid hobbyist who enjoys baking, photography, running, cycling, and – most recently – learning to fly fish. Next to Jesus, his deepest well of joy is his wife and three young children.
