“Does not long life bring understanding?” – Job 12:12
Want to make new friends? Looking for a great meal? Hoping for some lively conversation? Want to hear an interesting talk? Then you belong with our Senior Fellowship!
Our Beginnings
Moreton-in-Marsh, a thriving market town, lies in the northern Cotswolds of Gloucestershire, England. Our Rector’s mother lives there! Her village is filled with lively folks who can’t wait to meet once a month at their local parish to join together for a meal, some fun and some meaningful interaction. When she described to us the success of their group, we couldn’t resist creating our own unique group. That led us to create the Senior Ministry.
Who are we and what do we do?
We gather on a monthly basis on 3rd Thursdays from 12:30 – 2:30pm to share a meal, get acquainted and to listen to a lively talk on a variety of inspiring topics. Through our monthly meetings we build friendships that carryover beyond the time of our monthly meetings. Lunch is $15 but first time friends are free.
Who can come?
Anyone can come. The group is designed with seniors in mind. Typically that is age 55+. However, if you are younger than that – that’s OK. And, there’s no need to be a member of the church. Friends are welcome and encouraged to come! If you hope to come, please RSVP (contact info below).
