Winter Porch Visit? Prayer?

We are living through a difficult ‘winter’ season, both figuratively and literally, when worship is not the same. Ascension is currently livestreaming Sunday services at 10am with a ‘walk through eucharist’ after the livestream from 11:15 – 12:15pm. Until it is safe to gather together in large numbers, stick with us! If the walk through eucharist is not possible, we do have options to be able to partake of the eucharist and for prayer – even in the winter months! PLEASE READ ON to find out more and for resources on navigating anxiety as the pandemic continues on.

Staying at home? Schedule a Winter Porch Visit

If you are not able to come to Ascension to receive the sacrament after worshiping via the livestream service, and would like to receive Holy Communion at your home (as a “Porch Visit”, not actually entering your home), we will arrange for a Lay Eucharistic Visitor to come to you on Sunday afternoon. Please fill out THIS FORM to request a visit. You can expect a call from your Visitor on Saturday or Sunday to confirm a time on Sunday he or she will be bringing the Sacrament to you. If you have questions, please email Andrea Millard

The Pandemic has not stopped Prayer!

We welcome your prayer requests! To submit a confidential prayer request or if you need to talk in person with one of our clergy, please email Andrea Millard.

Experiencing anxiety?

Ascension clergy as well as counselors from our Workshop Counseling Ministry, Jim and Mari Stout, have made several YouTube videos to help navigate through these troubling times. Each Sunday of Advent 2020 a new video will be added to a special “Light in the Darkness” series following the themes of Hope, Peace, Joy and Love. The link to the YouTube Playlist is available HERE or be clicking the picture below.
