    Welcome!

We are a community of Anglican believers who worship together, seek to grow as disciples of Jesus, and give back to God in gratitude for all He has done. Please join us on a Sunday and find out more!

As Anglican Christians we baptize infants, children and adults and confirm young people and adults in their faith.

    .

At Church of the Ascension we baptize both infants and adults within the context of our regular worship services. Those being baptized, or the parents of those being baptized, meet with a member of the clergy beforehand in order to understand the commitment being made in baptism. Baptisms occur early in January when we celebrate the baptism of Christ, at the Easter Vigil, at Pentecost or on All Saints Day. A Service of Baptism may also be scheduled on many other Sundays during the year. If you want to be baptized, or if you want to have your child baptized, please contact a member of our clergy.

Confirmations take place two times each year when the Bishop visits us – usually on a Thursday evening in May when we celebrate Ascension Day, and also the second Sunday of Advent in December. If you are interested in preparing for Confirmation, or learning more about it, please contact a member of our clergy.
