Sound board operators set up sound equipment and run the sound board for Sunday worship services and occasionally for other times of worship such as the annual parish retreat, weddings, funerals and special services. This is a good ministry for those who enjoy the technology of sound and understand the need for music and speech to be heard as we worship God together.  No previous experience or knowledge is required as new sound techs are trained on the job.

Sound board operators arrive about an hour before the worship service and run sound for any rehearsals that are taking place during that time. They also set up sound equipment as needed and break down the equipment following the worship service.
