The Children’s Choir seeks to immerse children in the world of worship music in a fun and interesting way they can understand and also to help them come to understand themselves as full members of the family of God in worship and even as worship leaders.

Music is very important to a child’s development and in Children’s Choir kids have the chance to soak in as much as they can. They play games that teach them rhythm, pitch and solfege as well as silly games just to have fun. We talk about the music and what the words mean about God and about us. They learn to play simple instruments and how to follow conducting.

It is open to boys and girls in the 1st to 5th grades and rehearses on Sundays between services at 10:15 am. The choir sings in church at 11am on the last Sunday of each month from September through May. They sing occasionally at the 9am service as well.
