Two ways to give your pledge electronically
There are two online options that you can use to give your pledge payments. The first option is to have your pledge payments automatically withdrawn from your bank account by filling out the form that is listed on the back of the pledge card.
The automatic withdrawal is set up through the church’s bookkeeper and will withdraw your pledge payments directly from your bank account. Automatic withdrawal works very similar to setting up automatic bill payments with your electric or cable companies. You can access the .pdf file by going clicking here. You will need to print and fill out the “Authorization Agreement for Electronic Payments (ACH). If you have questions about the form you can always e-mail the bookkeeper (linda.mclane@ascensionpittsburgh.org) or ask your bank who can give you information like routing and account number. You will need to sign the authorization form and turn it into the church by dropping it in the offering plate or mailing to the church office.
The second automatic option is setting up your pledge payments through your bank’s online bill pay program. Many banks offer free online bill pay programs and you are able to set up one-time and recurring payments through this system. The best way to set up this is to speak to a bank representative and they will tell you the most appropriate way to set up your pledge payments. Many services will need a phone number or address for the church:
