    Welcome!

We are a community of Anglican believers who worship together, seek to grow as disciples of Jesus, and give back to God in gratitude for all He has done. Please join us on a Sunday and find out more!

    Did you know….
    .
    •  Approximately 53 million people in the US and 15% of teens have a disability
    •  95% of those with disabilities are unchurched
    • Many families in our community with disabled children or young adults at home have stopped attending church because they don’t feel welcome or it just “doesn’t work”
    .
Jesus said, “Whoever welcomes one of these (children) in my Name welcomes me.” Church of the Ascension has a loving heart and a welcoming attitude toward individuals with disabilities and their families. In the fall of 2008, God led us to establish a ministry that builds bridges to bring people affected by disability to Jesus.
    .
We offer two programs for those with cognitive disabilities:  A weekly Sunday school program called WINGS; and a monthly club called Capernaum Club. For more information, please contact the leader of both programs, Christina Carlucci.
