Whether they attend the 9am service or the 11am service, the children participate in a biblically based curriculum that follows the Revised Common Lectionary (a three-year cycle of scripture readings). Teachers, who are members of the church, use instructional techniques designed to complement various learning styles, engaging the children with the heads, hearts and hands. Our goal is that parents and children will hear the same Scripture lesson on Sundays to make follow-up discussions during the week possible. Sunday School classes meet regularly through the school year, with the exception of Christmas and Easter.
