This is the group of worship leaders who you see on the platform near the piano each Sunday, especially during communion. All members of Ascension are welcome to this ministry which comprises singers and a variety of instrumentalists, especially but not exclusively guitarists, percussionists, strings and woodwind players and provides leadership for the singing of contemporary Christian music in worship on Sundays, and at other parish gatherings such as the parish picnic and the parish retreat weekend at Laurelville.
We rehearse about twice a month on Sunday afternoons and alternate teams for leading worship. We are always in need of new members, especially if you sing, play piano or guitar.
