Sue Crary, Treasurer

Sue grew up in Murrysville, east of Pittsburgh, and received her BS in Accounting from Grove City College in Grove City, PA. She worked at Price Waterhouse for 3 years and became a CPA before working as a financial analyst at Beckwith Machinery. Sue has been the Controller at the WN Tuscano Agency in Greensburg for over ten years, moving to part-time after her daughter was born. A believer since she was 4, Sue grew up in the Episcopal Church and found the Church of the Ascension when she moved to Pittsburgh after college in 1992. After serving as Assistant Treasurer since 1994, Sue became Treasurer in 2003, and also enjoys singing with Resounding Grace. She met her husband Karl at a Young Adults event at Ascension, and they married in 2002. Sue enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.

Jeff Forster

Jeff was born and bred in the Salvation Army, moving around the northeastern US as a child of Salvation Army officers. The South Hills of Pittsburgh was one of many stops along the way. While an undergraduate at Yale (link: www.yale.edu), Jeff started attending an Episcopal church with Paige, a classmate and now his wife. Jeff and Paige married soon after graduation and settled in Pittsburgh. They started attending Ascension in 1995, where Jeff was baptized (no sacraments in the Salvation Army) and confirmed as an Episcopalian. After pursuing a public policy degree at Carnegie Mellon (link www.cmu.edu) and a short stint in Pittsburgh's City Planning Department, he has directed the technology services at Robert Morris University's Bayer Center for Nonprofit Management (link: www.rmu.edu/bcnm) since 2001. Jeff and Paige have two boys, Charlie and Teddy. Jeff and his family are members of the Edgewood house group hosted by the Ruzanics' and Richardses'. He joined the vestry in 2005, served on the strategic planning committee and serves on the Ascension Arts Oversight Board. Jeff subscribes to The Atlantic Monthly ( www.theatlatic.com), Automobile magazine (www.automobilemag.com) and ReadyMade (www.readymade.com).
