Common Ground: Summer Ministry gathering at Church of the Ascension.
During the summer, Ascension's Campus Ministry partners with other groups from the Oakland/Shadyside area for combined teaching, fellowship, and play. The group meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:00pm during the months of June and July.
If you are a student who is going to be around or know a student who will be in Pittsburgh for the summer, please contact Jonny.
There will be other events as well which will be announced via our summer email list and listed on the Event/Connect section of the campus ministry website.

Summers are an incredibly important time during the college years.
It is one of the main times when people are able to test out different jobs or internships or even travel before they graduate and work full time.

Crossings Trip - Crossings is a two-week kayaking trip for those who are transitioning out of the structured culture of college. As participants learn to successfully navigate the waters of the Georgian Bay, they learn what it takes to successfully navigate career, relationships, and identity in the post-college world.
