The children’s choir is for boys and girls in 1st to 5th grades and is open to both members and non-members of Ascension. The program emphasizes the unique role of children in leading corporate worship while laying a solid foundation in basic musicianship and vocal skills. Repertoire focuses on multi-cultural music and regularly incorporates the use of Orff instruments.
The Children’s Choir rehearses every Sunday morning at 9:15, and sings in church the last Sunday of each month from September through May. For more information contact Kathryn Barnard at
