At Church of the Ascension, God has called us to be actively engaged in worship as a community as well as being actively engaged in worship in community with one another. God made us for worship and when we worship Him, we fullfill a deep longing that He has written into the "DNA of our souls."

Much of our worship finds its expression on Sunday morning as we gather, for breakfast, corporate worship at one of our Sunday morning services (8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.), and after services as we enjoy the company of those who are new and those who are familiar. In all of these ways, we are living out the vision that God has given us- to be a worshipping community. However, even though we love worship on Sunday, our worship does not cease when the day is over. Instead, we believe that we need to be actively engaged in worshipping God throughout the week, in our jobs, our homes, and in the various ways in which we gather as a worshipping community.
