The vision of Church of the Ascension is to be a worshipping community that equips God's people and shares Chrsit's healing with a broken world. As a worshiiping community that is being equipped to become followers of Jesus, we feel compelled to share the healing that Jesus offers to the whole world.

Within this section of ascensionpittsburgh.org, you will see the tremendous amount of "sharing" that is taking place among us. From care for one another in worship, small groups, homes and hospitals, to care for those living among us in our neighborhoods, the city, the nation, and the world, Ascension is a community that is seeking to share the healing that Jesus offers. It is taking place within the community that gathers to worship, both in Church on Sundays and throughout the week, in our homes, neighborhoods, work, and and outside our walls in places as far away as Africa.
