Ash Wednesday Services - February 6th We will have special Ash Wednesday services at 7am, noon and 7pm on Wednesday, February 6th. Childcare will be provided at the 7pm service. Ash Wednesday is the first day of the penitential season of Lent, so called from the ceremony of placing ashes on the forehead as a sign of penitence. Ash Wednesday occurs six and one-half weeks before Easter. Members of the Parish may find the attached Lenten Devotional Guide beneficial. |
