This Sermon deals with the dilemma of the Perfectionism that causes people to want "the perfect church and the problem of being passive and complacent about brokenness and sin.) 1-20-08 Jay Slocum The Vision of Isaiah: Breaking the Power of Idols Isaiah 49:1-7 (Visions are powerful. They give us a look at what the future could be if... God delivered a vision to Isaiah that would allow the Israelites to become free from the addictive Idols that had kept them from God. Instead of understanding the radical grace that saved them, they extended salvation to include circumcision.
