Support Groups at Ascension
Ascension hosts numerous support groups to help those who experience particular challenges or struggles in their lives:

The International Women's Association of Pittsburgh (IWAP) hosts english as a second language classes for those new to Pittsburgh, coming from other countries. These classes meet Monday mornings. IWAP also hosts a fun, monthly international cooking class on a Wednesday morning.

On Monday evenings Living Waters meets in our upper parish hall (Guildroom). Living Waters is a course designed to foster sexual and relational healing.

Overeaters Annonymous meets late Friday afternoon.

Alcoholics Announymous meets Tuesday evenings.

The Legal Aide Society of Pittsburgh meets two Thursdays per month, offering free legal advice to those in need.

If you would like more information or contact information for any of the above support groups, please do not hesitate to contact the church office.
